The Flat Steel Bar is used in a wide variety of applications and industries, such as engineering, construction and manufacturing. Steel flats can be manufactured using two different methods: “true mill flats” - produced by rolling at the steel mill, or “sheared flats” - made by shearing and edging a metal plate. Flats that are sheared and edged have a different finish that is not as precisely dimensioned (compared to mill flats).

 

Steel Flats are available in hot or cold rolled, and stocked in: Stainless Steel, Aluminum, and Galvanized.
